Fear is excitement without breathing.

When someone you know is facing challenge or fixating in their personality at a less than optimum level, the response from us is not necessarily helpful when contributed without awareness. In fact, it may surprise you to learn that one of the most helpful ways to be with someone is to be what that person would be at their best. Of course, we all have our unique gifts, as the following descriptions illustrate:
Type 1 - This type helps us remember our dignity, nobility and our higher nature. Be present with them and free of your own agenda, demonstrating fairness, clarity, honesty, understanding and tolerance. Be an example of accepting what is.
Type 2 - At their best, this type is a dynamic manifestation of unconditional love. They are gracious, charitable, thoughtful, giving and humble. Through this type we remember our sweetness. Model self-nurturing and joy.
Type 3 - Through the example of this type we remember our preciousness and value. Manifest self-acceptance (even the limitations), modesty, tenderness, authenticity and connection with your innermost heart's desire.
Type 4 - This type reminds us of our heart and emotional realness. At their best, they are contactful, intimate and in touch with this moment. Be grounded and empathetic with them, but don't buy into the feelings. Stay away from your issues and be patient, kind, sensitive and steady.
Type 5 - Through this type we get clear with radical aloneness. Since their core is unveiling truth, rapport is built through sincerity. Maintain objectivity, clear-mindedness and compassion and honor their perceptions and contributions.
Type 6 - This type is about knowing what you need to know when you need to know it. At their best, they demonstrate an intelligent orientation of how consciousness lives in the world. They are selfless, devoted and steady. With support and affirmation, mirror their autonomy.
Type 7 - At their best, this type loves where they are, manifesting quiet satisfaction, clarity and lucidity. In healthy moments they are generating experiences that are the fulfillment of the heart and soul. Reflect their receptivity, gratefulness and wonder.
Type 8 - This type helps us to remember what it is to show up. Be present with what it really means to have strength and capacity, courage and forgiveness. Demonstrate the compassionate innocence that is their virtue - strength with delicacy.
Type 9 - With this type we are reminded of how to relax and be here. Stay engaged and be attentive, serene and self-aware. Everyone's participation in the world is important. Feel grounded, alive and alert and embrace the combination of connection.
